The New Cali Workshop

Some husbands have hobbies that their wives hate. Mine has one that I absolutely adore. He loves woodworking. This translates into pieces of furniture for our home that are custom built & much cheaper than store-bought items. This is a tv stand that he just finished this past week.

Aside from woodworking, Ryan has recently remodeled our whole master bathroom. Some of you might remember when I blogged about the new shower that he built. Since then, he gutted the rest of the bathroom. He custom built the cabinets and tiled the counter. He replaced the sink, ripped out the old nasty linoleum & replaced it with tile, replaced the toilet and put in a larger mirror.

I didn't know your hubby was such a craftsman. I have this passion to learn how to build furniture. Someday! I love his work!

Wow! Great work Ryan! Jenn - you are blessed to have a husband not only with this talent, but a husband who want to use it! Most people probably don't even know about the coffee/game table and futon...his early works!

Now that you mention it, he's made quite a few things for our home. Here are the additional items I can think of:

- large coffee/game table
- futon
- quilt rack (for storing/displaying quilts)
- aquarium stand
- original TV stand (now retired)

He's my hero.
